A dual-gigabit network entails the integration of two high-speed communication networks: a 5G wireless network and a gigabit optical network. The concept revolves around merging the capabilities of a robust fifth-generation (5G) mobile network with the efficiency and speed of a gigabit optical network. This hybrid approach aims to furnish users with improved connectivity and data transfer speeds, capitalizing on the strengths of both wireless and optical communication technologies.


Conversely, a gigabit optical network represents a high-capacity, fiber-optic communication infrastructure capable of transmitting data at speeds of up to one gigabit per second (Gbps) or even higher. Optical networks employ fiber-optic cables to transmit data through light pulses, offering markedly faster data transfer rates compared to conventional copper-based networks. The gigabit optical network plays a pivotal role in meeting the growing demand for high-speed internet services, facilitating quicker and more dependable data transmission for various applications, including internet browsing, video streaming, and other bandwidth-intensive tasks. Over 23.02 million ports were established to support gigabit optical network services.


Beyond urban settings, the network expands its reach, encompassing over 80 percent of administrative villages nationwide. Often overlooked in expansion initiatives, remote areas are now integrated into an advanced telecommunication framework. A staggering 805 million users have embraced this technology, highlighting the widespread adoption and dependence on this forward-thinking network.
