Klopp lauds Alexander-Arnold as 'world-class'.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes that having a new manager will benefit Trent Alexander-Arnold and predicts that the right-back will be remembered as a football legend for years to come.

Klopp, who is set to depart from Liverpool at the end of the season, handed Alexander-Arnold his senior debut in October 2016 when the academy graduate was just 18 years old.

Since then, the 25-year-old has made over 300 appearances for Liverpool, winning multiple trophies including the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Club World Cup, and Super Cup.

Under Klopp's guidance, Alexander-Arnold has not only excelled as a right-back but has also showcased his versatility by frequently moving into midfield due to his creative prowess.

“From day one, Trent has been an exceptional talent and has evolved into a world-class player,” said Klopp ahead of Liverpool’s Merseyside derby against Everton. “It's rare to witness such a prolonged journey with a player. Trent has only known one manager, so it will be beneficial for him to experience different coaching styles in the future. Nevertheless, he should be proud of his progress.”

In Liverpool’s recent 3-1 victory over Fulham, Alexander-Arnold demonstrated his skills by scoring a stunning free-kick, adding another dimension to his game and keeping Liverpool's Premier League title aspirations alive.

“I have nothing but praise for Trent and his growth,” Klopp added. “His story is unique, and he is destined to be remembered as one of football's greats for generations to come.”
