The University of Cape Coast is now accepting applications for undergraduate programs for the 2024/2025 academic year. If you’re currently taking the WASSCE and awaiting your 2024 results, you are also eligible to apply.

- Visit apply.ucc.edu.gh and select “click to apply for a programme.”
- Read the application instructions and admissions brochure thoroughly before completing the online application form.
Entry Requirements:
Local and International Students:
- WASSCE/SSSCE: Credit passes in six subjects with an aggregate of 36 (WASSCE) or 24 (SSSCE), including three core subjects (English, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies) and three relevant electives.
- GCE Advanced Level: Credit passes in five O-Level subjects (including English and Mathematics) and three passes in relevant Advanced Level subjects.
- GBCE: Credit passes (A-D) in six subjects, including three core subjects and three relevant electives.
- IGCSE: Credit passes in five O-Level subjects (including English and Mathematics) and three passes in relevant Advanced Level subjects.
- IB: Minimum grade 4 in three Higher Level subjects relevant to the program (grade 5 for Health and Allied Sciences) and grade 4 in English/Literature and Mathematics (SL).
- American High School Grade 12: Final GPA of 3.0.
Special Note for B.Ed (Physical Education) Candidates: Candidates applying for B.Ed. (Health, Physical Education, and Recreation) should be prepared for a practical examination, with the date to be announced later.
Important Instructions:
- Keep a printed copy of your application for your records.
- Do not send hard copies to the University.
- Applicants awaiting 2024 WASSCE results should select the “Awaiting Results” option.
- No changes to the program can be made after submission.
